Many European countries recognise this certification, which attest — through strict controls and inspections the ability to supply safe products that comply with contractual specifications and legal requirements. Our products have been ranked an HIGHER LEVEL.
Isola Bio products are certified as organic by EU standards. Our chosen controlled operator is Bioagricert (S04S).
At Isola Bio we care about Kosher standards too. This certification is the result of it.
We are proud to have been granted this key certification, which allows us to spread our organic culture to Japan too.

We decided to be farmers back in 2007, when we founded the La Goccia farm – a choice we are proud of, as this was the first step to creating a fully-supervised wholly-organic food chain and achieving the most recognised certifications in the organic industry.
Since then, we and our farmers have worked as one to grow, select and stock our grains, making sure every possible bit of natural goodness is preserved in our recipes. Teamwork and dedication – should these count as ingredients too?

At Isola Bio, we are focused on the quality of our products just as much as on their eco-friendliness. No wonder we have created one of the most sustainable co-generation plants in the world to power our production process. Based on “air bearings”, our system makes sure we optimise use of exhaust gases from the turbines to produce the saturated steam required in production.
As a result, 40% of our energy is co-generated by our own production processes. Another 58% comes from the certified renewable energy sources we buy. The remaining 2% comes from the photovoltaic system installed on the roof of our House.
We told you from the start – our heart is green. Indeed.
Sustainable on the inside… and outside as well! Our drinks never bend this rule, which is even easier to follow with the new TetraPak® Bio-based 1L briks.
By adopting this innovative TetraPak® technology, all Isola Bio drinks have now achieved the highest sustainable content and obtained the prestigious TÜV OK-Biobased© certification and is recyclable in paper or plastic according to the municipality.
Sorry, we can’t stand water waste. It’s a rule for life at Isola Bio and we are on a mission to hit the zero-waste mark. Curious about it?
To start with, we rely on a complete-cycle water system: that is, the water we use in production goes through routine checks and must meet all the relevant chemical, physical and microbiological standards.
Also – inverse osmosis is key to our water management: it provides the highest level of filtration without resorting to chemical regenerants. Water is then remineralised, making it suitable for beverage production.
Finally, we only release our industrial wash water into surface water after active sludge depuration takes place.
Giving back to Nature as much as we take from it or even more – that’s the idea.
